YouTube and the IRC’s 2017 World Refugee Day campaign
#MoreThanARefugee, a campaign for World Refugee Day in 2017. YouTube and the International Rescue Committee partnered to help tell the story of refugees. Seven prominent YouTube creators connected with refugees with whom they shared something in common. Together, they each created a video to help amplify refugee stories that had previously gone untold. The campaign went viral with over 19 million views and 980 million impressions.
