Hi, I'm Dan

Hi! My name is Dan. I’m a marketing exec that works on technology, experiences, and campaigns that make the world a brighter place. My experience has taken me around the world, working for Google/YouTube based in San Francisco, London, and Singapore. There, I helped launch and grow innovative products like YouTube Live, Community, Sponsorships, Merchandise, and YouTube Go, an app helping people overcome access and affordability barriers to use YouTube.

On the brand-side, I helped build YouTube’s presence, working in brand marketing. My campaigns have been viewed by over 400 million people in over 190 countries, including work on the Refugee Crisis, Gender Equality, and LGBTQ rights. These campaigns have been covered by the likes of Adweek, NBC, GLAAD, Fortune, Bloomberg, ET, and Business Insider, and have been honored by the Webbys, the One Show, the Shortys, the Drum, The Marketing Society, the Lovies, and the Streamys . I was shortlisted for The Marketing Society’s Young Marketing Leader of the Year and was selected as an ADCOLOR Future.

During the pandemic, I returned to my alma mater, Stanford, to pursue my MBA and as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, where I joined a cohort 60 students across all Stanford graduate programs pursuing interdisciplinary leadership.

Most recently, I joined Column Tax as their first business hire. There, I helped build the business and product, which now reaches hundreds of thousands of middle-to-low income taxpayers with next-gen and affordable tax filing technology.

Outside of tech, I am a cycling instructor! At CycleBar, I teach rhythm riding (to the beat of the music).
